Almost like the old days. Actually, memories of the 1980's. We are getting more customers calling us about old rugs and carpets that they have purchased from estate sales, auctions or hand-me-downs from granny. It seems that there is a renewed interest in traditional rugs, especially among the millennial crowd. These picture are of a 9x12 Indo Persian rug a with Sarouk design that was purchased at an auction sale in London Ontario a few weeks ago. A quick cleaning, a few touch up repairs and underpad was all that was needed to restore this piece to its original glory. The buyer will enjoy this room size handmade oriental rug for years. We hope this trend will continue.
